This Port Ellen was at the risk of going flat and was from a good friend Brandon Lee at a BYOB event held at Get Some at Guillemard. This Port Ellen still held rich flavours, distinctly good fruity and malty character. The peat was extremely light, probably due to the fact that it was low fill for a good while.
Nose: light sulphites, rich sherry, light chilli spice
Palate: old school distillate, coffee chocolate, rich blackberry, light motor oil
