Shooting for the moon here as I forgot to take a picture of the back label, this Old Bothwell was opened for the Single Malt Amateurs Club from India for their 2024 whisky trip to Singapore. An incredibly potent Port Ellen, this one probably was the first to hit me with the strong industrial notes.
Nose: old balanced peat, mellow and savoury burnt mineralic meat
Palate: waxy full bodied, elegant vegetal and meaty coastal peat against a mandarin orange fruitiness
