The First Dram of WhiskyLah for me! An exceptional Port Ellen expression, this one came close to the Port Ellen 1970 Intertrade in palate, but just not close enough in intensity!
Nose: rich mangos, cigarette smoke peat and ashy wood, light wood cream, vanilla ice cream
Palate: potent, strong and sharp, mangoes and saline, salty bacon, light grassy vegetal peat back end, dry green apples finish
