A milestone for the indie bottler certainly, an effort that I most definitely applaud and hope to see continue to develop over time. Yet, as the name suggests, this was never going to be an overtly complex whisky. It was meant to be fruit-forward and spirit-driven – which I unfortunately felt it was not much of either, either.
