This really needs a good 2-3 hours in bottle to open up and then it completely changes. The aromas are austere and mineral, with these thickened cherry skins, along with dark fruits. With time it grows into a giant bouquet of roses. It's really terroir led nevertheless. Initially closed off and grippy and gritty, when it has properly opened up, it becomes this beautiful polished dakr cherry with smoothened clay. Underlying meaty saltiness and dried herbs.
