Big, powerful and grippy. Relatively inky on the palate and aromas, with a moderate intensity and body. Quite tannic forward, with flavours that remind me of tart plums and redcurrants, alongside the grippiness of strong black tea. Hints of liqourice and cinamon spice come through as well. A spiciness harkens at the roof of the palate as well as a back palate, reminiscent of dried chilli.
