A really solid all rounded Champagne that is evocative on the nose with orchard fruits and a light touch of floury powderiness and gentle florals, with also an oxidative backbone giving lots of malic and savoury bruised apples. It has a great richness and firmness on the palate, really creamy and with a present and firm acidity. What was a really nice added touch were the dried apples and apple paste notes that gave it a sense of age and depth!
