Smells, tastes and finishes like a light oaked rum! Very approachable, with lots of brown sugar and caramel flavours and aromas. Whilst it's forward with all that cooked minerally brown sugar flavours and aromas, I do appreciate that hint of complexity from that greenness like dried bamboo leaves that's a bit haylike as well. Clean, straightfoward with mellowed out edges, this is the go to classic to kokuto shochu. Fantastic!
