The big kicker for me here is that apricot flavour - never had I ever had a Chardonnay with such a unique apricot sweetness!
I absolutely enjoyed the punchiness of the aromas and taste – its really generous in flavour and doesn't shy from expressing its full range. The malolactic fermentation seems to be at work here, contributing to a much smoother sweetness and gentler acidity that I find quite enjoyable.
