The best of the Octomore 16 releases, this one comes with the greatest complexity in terms of profile. While still very young and modern, it is not offensive but rather cuts through the sulphites of the prior 16.2 sample that I drank. A very delightful bottle that does not overpower with peat but integrates it well with the other fruity influences of the cask.
