This is a really easy whisky to like. It leans bright and fruit-forward, very juicy. The wine cask finish clearly pushes it towards berries, florals and that slightly candied sweetness and the texture comes across rounded and very plush. It is a fantastic complement to have the lychee-sweet distillate of Rampur come together with the muskiness of a wine cask.
