[Tasted at The Grape Escape 2025] [2024 Batch] Funky! It's so oily and rich on the aromas, reading of nut oils, fried food, yet it gives a mellow, rich ricey and savoury palate. A very unique shochu, one that gives lots of pleasant surprises with a sweet-savoury finish that does not overstay. Delicious and definitely worth a try. Wonder how this would taste warmed up...
