This Port Ellen was surprising, granted I tried this about 10 drinks into The Malt Affair 2024. A nose that does not match the much appreciated Port Ellen old style fruits, with some fresh fruity sherry grapes in there.
Nose: umami mushrooms
Palate: dry black tea leaves, grassy purple grapes, mango distillate
