Really good cohesiveness here - this is probably my favourite Islay cask matured whisky that I've had. I tend to find that Islay cask whiskies seem to be rather tricky - they either come off too gentle and thin, and sort of feel like a separate layer over the whisky, or otherwise it can come off rather forceful; always seems to be a matter of integrating the cask versus the spirit.
