The more bitter sibling of the original Fernet Hunter. On the nose, it's a lot more spice and root driven, with more pronounced gentiane, steeped tea leaves and dried chrysanthemum. On the palate, it matches the nose in terms of bitterness, giving more overt gentiane, cinchona bark and macerated dried herbs. Finish wise, it prickles and lasts longer, yet gives more floral accents of lavender, chamomile and verbana.
