This was quite a polarizing dram by The Auld Alliance. An Irish whisky with light to moderate fruitiness, sparingly distinct from Cooley's particular fruity note. A very potent and funky rum influence from the cask. This one apparently required time to open up in order to release the organic distillate fruitiness from the veil of heavy, high-estery rum cask notes.
