This was an incredibly mid nightcap. TO BE FAIR, this was on the evening where the Ardbeg 1965 Cadenhead for Mizuhashi Total Liquor supply was opened, so it makes a good bit of sense. Some crazy whisky was going around that night. Probs an 8.63 at best.
Nose: varnish and cream, light funk and mild grapes
Palate: sugary grapes, fierce and syrupy, light pulsating burnt paper
