Would you believe that the one whisky that got me sold on independently bottled whisky did not actually get a review when I first tried it? It was thanks to this night where I tried this that I ended up going to The Malt Affair 2023, into working at the Swan Song in 2024 onwards.
Nose: Light campfire wood peated, peppery spice, clean minerals
Palate: immensely well balanced meaty and mineralic peat against distinct wood char, light salt, and pleasant vegetal sweetness
