Quite far and away from the usual fruity Ben Nevis character, this one sits in an odd spot. Personally, not the most fond of the lack of distinctiveness in this dram. However, the sherry is quite potent and makes up for its lack of distinct character.
Nose: sharp, harsh metallic coffee bitters, slight medicinal grape
Palate: potent sharp but juicy grape sweetness, slight metallic menthol minty feel
