This is a solid and very unique mezcal that should really be tried by an aficionado. The industrial solvent aroma I received and intense spice might put off someone new to the category. However, these same idiosyncratic flavours would likely excite mezcal enthusiasts who enjoy the most funky and challenging aspects of the spirit.
Just think of this as the durian of the Mexican culinary world. A beautiful agricultural product but potentially a bit polarising!
