This was quite the fiesty Hampden. The hallmarks are present but it's also pushing through all at once, taking on a more high-tone styled solventy quality. It's exceptionally bright, with the body alittle thinner than I would have hoped. That said, I did enjoy the intense candied pineapples on the palate. The youth certainly shows, and most definitely would benefit from somemore years of ageing.
